You might have thought that this post would be about stress reduction and a funny stress story. But oh no, this post is about my realization that I LOVE the smell of LAVENDER!!!!!!! This realization has been slowly coming on since the beginning of summer. Every time I put on my facial lotion I cannot help but take a huge deep whiff. This is due to the lavender essential oil in my lotion. I also am soooo attracted to the flowers. The purple color contrasting with the green stems.... My goal..... when I am dead and gone to have people share stories about how I was always surrounded by lavender and smelled oh so good.
I love this post on lavender. Purple is my favorite color and lavender is one of my favorite smells. It is so funny that you posted this because just tonight as I was bathing Lilly I was noticing that everything I buy is purple. I thought to myself maybe I should stop doing that. Purple just makes me so happy when I see it and lavender is very calming. Heres to lavender!
ReplyDeleteI love it too. I pulled out my little pouch that I use for the renaissance faire and took a big whiff this morning. I keep lavender in there all year so that I can smell it anytime I want and it never loses it scent in there. I add fresh stuff each year when I go. Great pictures too. So pretty.

ReplyDeleteOn a road trip this summer through California, we passed field upon field of lavender in full bloom... it was SO beautiful!
