So back on the 11th of October Richy and Marie (My Cousins) had plans to go to the DC temple. Since the only thing standing in their way was what to do with Linus, I happily volunteered for the task. I was aware of the energy and ingenuity it takes to keep a little one entertained for the day. I was still shocked at how much we accomplished!
One the way back from Brunch I asked Linus if he wanted to go to the park. He confirmed my theory that the prospects of brightly colored jungle gym equipment to climb on was a grand idea. Well, we made it 20 ft from the playground and Linus was too thrilled by the "sparkly dirt" to go any further. He proceeded to play and enjoy himself in the dirt until I suggested me move the adventure to where I live so we can play with trucks.... in the leaves. He agreed since truck and leaves were "GREAT!"
It was a blissful time. Linus, leaves, trucks, sprite, and cookies. I did try and feed him mac and cheese and corn dogs. The mac and cheese was not touched and the corn dog only got a couple bites. What can I expect when I already gave him sprite and cookies. (sorry R&M, hope he made it home without illness).
Here's some shots from our day.
A perfect Spritey-trucky moment
Moving leaves
Taking a walk
Fun at the little park we found on the walking trail
I didn't even wish that time was going faster, and was surprised when his parents showed up to get him. Ahhh, the bliss of family!

What a fun day!
I am so jealous! Look like you guys had a great time.
It sounds like you had a great day! Sprite and cookies are sometimes the best type of lunch!
YAY! I only got one picture so I'm glad you got some others. He fared well and slept most of the drive home.
The constant flow of Sprite pretty much gave you permanent "Rock Star" status with him.
Thank you thank you thank you so much.
Hope to see you in December!
He's adorable! I'm glad you had such a lovely time -- with Sprite and cookies you can't go wrong!
Good job Krista!
