Classes Are Done!!!

Yahoo! Classes are done, Well almost! I still have a few assignments and a final for my online class. I still feel that all is good and my mind may be able to relax. I only get a few weeks to relax and then I start a job at Howard County General Hospital. I will work as a PTC for a year in exchange for well... work, and training in other areas the nursing program at HCC does not offer! This past semesters classes really kicked my rear. I had to say goodbye to a few friends that did not pass. They will get wait-listed to start this semester over. Well just actually the class they missed. Hopefully they will get in soon. It has been cool to see so many of the friends I made over the past couple years in my pre-reqs start the program. If all goes as planned I will be finished in a year. CRAZY!!!

A "Grateful" Day!

This past thanksgiving I spent the evening with my friends the Kashketts. I was really happy to do this for many reasons. 1)I like them. 2)I wouldn't have to worry about politely declining the turkey, since they are vegetarians. 3)We got to wear Tye dye and celebrate a grateful-grateful dead day.

Tye-Dye Heaven!

Scarriest Clothing I Own!

I looked through my closest for the scariest clothing I owned. This came out the winner. I am a little far back, but I believe that you can still see the lovely collar, tapered, pleated legs, and button down shirt. The shoes are very uncomfortable and yes, I am wearing socks. (I know, shocking to those of you who know me.) I did not use this for Halloween, although I had to wear it on the 31st. I am sure I would have won first prize in the ugly category though!

New Schedule

I thought I should update my schedule for those of you dying to know where I am at, most of the time.

Monday: Class 12:30-2:50
Tuesday: Clinicals 7:00-1:00
Wednesday: Clinicals 7:00-1:00, Gallagher's 2:30-7:00
Thursday: Lab Tech 7:30-9:00, Class 12:30- 2:50, Gallagher's 2:30-7:00
Friday: Lab Tech 7:30-9:00, Office 9:00-12:00

I hesitate to put the Gallagher's down since it has not been on steady days. There is also the haircuts, Nursing Association stuff, and myriads of other things I have left out. We could start a where's Krista game by phone.

A funny Find

On days that I supervise the Gallagher kids after school, I usually end up picking up Ryan from the gym. The other day I persuaded Megan to come along and did we have a laugh. We went inside the gym to wait for Ryan. We were thinking "luxury, leather couches to sit and relax on". Little did we know that we would have a nice selection of vending machine products.

At first we were a bit shocked when we saw the machine, but slowly our shock turned into impish smile and I politely asked Meagan if she had a dollar on her. Yes, the Cheetos's surprisingly did taste a little better in the gym setting, even without a workout beforehand!

Reveling in Revel Grove!

I love going to the Renaissance Festival with different people. The shops, shows, and food I have eaten before all seem new and interesting again. This time I went with Lisa and Megan Gallagher. Lisa is Megan's mom. I showed then the jewelry store I loved (Moon Angel) and soon they were also sharing in my love for it. The ladies running the shop proclaimed me an honorary "Moon Angel" for bringing them over. Lisa loves pottery like me and insisted on stopping at every pottery shop we walked by. Being with them also introduced me to new areas. I never would have gone into the White Tavern area before, and they have really good crab dip! Lisa made sure that whenever someone complimented our dresses that I would get lots of credit. It was such a fun day that we made plans for next year! YAHOO!!!

Megan getting a Henna Tattoo. She is wearing the first Ren Fest dress I ever made. It is still my favorite. Lisa had on my second, and I had on the newest. Sorry no pictures of the three of us!

Dave Dean

Dave Dean, AKA Big Dave or Baby Huey, and I have been working together
for about 4 yrs now. Conversations with him are always surprising
ranging from his latest Baseball catch at the Orioles field to his
superb managing skills at his night job.You may ask what Dave does for a living. Dave is a professional telemarketer. Being 4? years old he has been perfecting his telemarketing skills since he was about 16. I say, someones got to do it, you might as well do it with skills!

Dave and I have a strained relationship, and we have recently decided thatas long as we keep our conversations away from work, all will be well.He even exclaimed the other day,"We get along so much better when wedon't see each other very much!"We discussed this finding over lunchthe other day. The other topic of our conversation was "The petticoattea-room".Yes atea room that he has decided is the best place in theworld. He loves the little sandwiches and little perfect scoops of
salad."The fruit salad is the best in theworld. And there is the hugest selection of Teas!"I have enclosed photos so you can picture my friend Dave. No he is not gay, Just Dave. I guess my love of tea has a much stronger influencing power than I thought!
